This beautiful pule shell is partially covered and decorated with kafa pulu (coconut fiber) and is commonly used in various Pacific Island traditional attire, or handicrafts.
Tongans, however use these, in making Teunga Tau’olunga (dance costume), Kafa (rope), Kiekie (waistband), Kato teu (Decorated bag/basket), Kahoa (Necklace or neck piece) or handicrafts. These are pre-made and ready to be used on anything your creative eye desires.
Sizes;
- Small Pule shell is approx. 7cm without cord. Kafa cord is approx. 15cm
- Large Pule shell is approx. 9cm without cord. Kafa cord is approx. 30cm
